First of all, please excuse if this translations sounds sometimes a little funny.
Don't laugh - correct it and send  a mail to webmaster@katana-berlin.de.
We do our best, but we are not perfect - still we think, better we try it and make this way the page, more or less, possible for international Kat-freaks able to read - the feedback forced us  to do it. Thanks a lot for the international interest :-)

Long time ago....
...there was a Katana-group in Berlin.
This community of interests, went forward with much good ideas. Pleasing deeply felt and was model for other Katana groups of this kind in Germany, which formed thereafter in other cities.

After that 1999 aligned 2. citizen of Berlin Katana meeting, has the Berlin Katana group quit. The Katana community of Germany has commentated this with large surprise; nevertheless nobody had thereby thought that something like this will ever happen.

The past, without the Berlin Katana group, proved that still, also supraregional, a partner for Katana interests in Berlin in demand .
Many questions, requests for assistance etc. repeated to us was addressed - a forum for Berlin and surrounding countryside where need for.

The other groups in Germany ignored the dissolution persistent, upright received the contact, still some looked for even new one in Berlin.
Helpful was thereby also the InterNet, whatever in the future a good way to keep in touch and exchange informations.

Among other things, owed Katana Berlin IG these circumstances their rebuilding.

Thanks to all, which believed in us and encouraged us to keep on.

 Now about us

So that others do not have to look for us, we introduce ourselves hereby.

We are partners for the interests of the Katana riders, in particular into and around Berlin, as well as for other Katana groups. Are thus available with advice & act, in addition, we are thankful for suggestions and references. (we cannot know everything.)

For us the fun and the interest in Katana (and/or motorcycles) are most important.
Our community is relaxed and informal, without large obligations of each single member.
Naturally we present ourselves as community, because as a group we are much stronger - this is the sense of it.
We want not only to help each other, we also want to spent time together and have fun.

Gladly we become acquainted with also new people, which are also Kat-freaks and may like to be also engaged for it and the group.

If anyone likes to meet us personel, is invited to visit us, when we come together for our regular meetings of the group.
